This class unites drawing and painting together into a singular process, where we will make a drawing and then paint directly over that drawing using an ebauche technique popular in the 19th century. Each day we will focus on a new topic relevant to creating a successful portrait in this technique. This technique attempts to unite the best of both mediums into a dynamic and solid painting process.
